Volunteers Wanted!
If you have from as little as one day per year of free time to help support Kent's largest non-uniformed umbrella youth charity, your help will be much appreciated. No previous experience required. Volunteers currently help with anything from a one of activity for young people or a fundraising event through to regular office support and group leadership. Please contact Charmayne Ferrier Brown on 01634 281 841 to find out about current volunteering opportunities.
Young people aged 14+ are invited to join the Togle project as volunteer befrienders. No previous experience is necessary and training will be given. The project involves matching likeminded disabled and non-disabled young people together in leisure and personal development opportunities. You will not be a 'carer'. So, if you enjoy going to a youth club, taking part in fun activities or even just going out with friends for a bite to eat, then Togle could be right for you! please contact Kim Seal on 01622 66 30 40.
Each year, Kent Youth uses in excess of 300 reams of paper, 8000 envelopes and much, much more. If your company has spare office consumables, office equipment or sports or leisure equipment, we'd like to hear from you. Please call us on 01634 281 841.
Are you looking for something challenging and fulfilling to do in your spare time? Kent Youth is looking for volunteer fundraisers to help raise money for exciting new pieces of work with disabled young people across the county. If you enjoy organising events for friends, family and colleagues, want to take part in a sponsored activity or even just arrange a charity dress down day at work, then your help could be really important to us. Please contact Charmayne Ferrier Brown on 01634 281 841 for more information.
Do you have skills or experience that could be useful to us or one of our member youth groups? For example, helping to support our peer education projects or activities programme. Perhaps you have a sports instructor qualification or would like to help run activities for disabled young people. If you would like more information, please contact 01634 281 841.
